About Me

I have been a professional photographer for over 10 years and for me weddings are not just a ‘quick buck’, but something I love doing. To play a part in a couple’s wedding is a special thing and I respect my clients by delivering them the best quality and creative images I can.

About my approach to weddings

Photography is naturally an intrinsic part of any wedding day, but many of us have been to weddings where the photographer seemed to be the centre of attention rather than the bride and groom!

My approach to wedding photography is relaxed; I believe that the best results are achieved by getting the right balance between posed group shots and a documentary style. It’s my job to find new and artistic ways to make your photographs stand out from the crowd, and to ensure they’re a true reflection of your unique day. Most couples like to have a few group and posed shots, both of themselves and family groups and friends. I try to ensure that these are done quickly and efficiently with the minimum of fuss – after all, you’d far rather be celebrating with each other and your guests than standing in front of a camera for me!

I like to take candid photographs of people just enjoying themselves – a wedding is a very happy occasion and should be reflected in the photographs; I strongly believe that this balance of images will tell the whole story of your day.

Group shots of friends and family will also be taken as I circulate, and I usually find that people are much more relaxed on their own terms; this certainly shows through in the photographs.
